Sort by iggypopsjacket Apr 26, 2026 I have to concur with the other reviewers on this pressing, which sounds phenomenal. The Eno production is perfect and let's all the elements of Devo's music shine through. I first encountered the band, via the Jocko Homo/Mongoloid 7", when I was at school and have never grown tired of their early work. Unfortunately, it seems that despite a few brushes with chart success they were doomed to be a cult act in perpetuity. Whereas, bands like The Cars, who borrowed quite a few elements from the Devo formula went on to become huge. I was amused to learn that their version of Satisfaction is Mick Jagger's favourite Stones cover. Very dynamic and powerful. Great separation in the instruments. No need to look any further. After picking this up recently in a second hand shop on a whim. This is a serious contender for one of my favourite records of all time. Brian Eno's touch certainly shines through on this album giving it an air of Roxy Music's self titled debut. It might be pop but it's the kind of pop which is seldom found nowadays; well produced, fun and danceable. I couldn't help but notice a few tracks that were reminisc
